What executions are performed in the USA?
I only know about lethal injection.
Rohit, they still use hanging?! I thought that they stopped! O_o

Lethal injections is the preferred method. But the electric chair, the gas chamber, hanging, and firing squad are all still legal methods in at least one state.
There were 1,362 executions performed between when the Supreme Court resumed allowing executions and January 16, 2014. Of those 1,187 were done by lethal ejection. The remainder were 158 by electrocution (the last one done in January 2013 in Virginia), 11 by gas chamber (the last one done in March 1999 in Arizona), 3 by hanging (the last one done in January 1996 in Delaware), and 3 by firing squad (the last one done in June 2010 in Utah).

It is unusual for anything other than lethal injections to be used today.
