Naming my new puppy?

Okay. So we are going to pick up my puppy that we adopted next week. He doesn't have a name yet and I don't know what to call him. He's a pompsky, and a male lol. He's really cute and I'll attach a picture. I don't really like names that are also people names, but certain ones are cute. Thanks.

He's very cute. Why don't you wait till you've had him for a week or two before you name him? If you pick a name now, it may not fit him at all. You can google "boy dog names" and "baby boy names."

I hope he will be at least 8 weeks old when you get him. Puppies Taken from Litter Too Soon Develop Behavior Problems

You will also want to start training him as soon as you get him, so you can be busy learning that right now. If you go to Youtube and do a search for Kikopup, and one for Zac George, you will find wonderful videos showing you fun ways to teach anything you want. Both of these trainers are great. The key is kindness, patience, practice and making it fun for you and your dog. Your whole family should watch the videos so you're all in agreement about training.
