Gift ideas for teen girl?

My close friend is turning 17 soon and I wanted to do something special for her birthday. I decided to get her little gifts, 17 of them. The first would be one item, the second would be two, and so on.

So far I have:

I need help figuring out what else to get her!!! Please help me come up with creative ideas that can keep me under my budget (not too much).

**Some info about her: she is turning 17, I've known her for 10 years, she likes the beach and swimming**

Good idea, although one of each item might also be enough if it gets too expensive. Also, wouldn't you want to switch 16 & 17 so that it would be 17 candles?

Get her gifts with a beach theme. Put everything into a beach bag. Get her a towel, sunscreen, lotion, lip gloss, flip-flops, journal, sun glasses, key chain (palm tree, flip-flop), make-up, cell phone case, water bottle, swim suit cover.
