Is taking a brake from my diet a good idea or a terrible one?

I've been under eating (between 1000 and 1200 calories a day with a bmr of 1450 and a demanding job) I've been very stressed and quite down about it as well as being so tired. So just for a week I'm going to eat 1800-2000 calories a day then restart my diet on 1350 calories. Is this a good idea?
