What does it mean to have 5 matching numbers on the mega million?

I got 5 matching numbers though they're not in order they're all in different rows on the same ticket did I win anything?

You would win if you matched the megaball number in any of the rolls, but if you matched 1 number in each game you have on the ticket, ie 5 games then if none are the megaball then no winner.

to count towards a prize the numbers have to be on the same line....still you did better than most people do. got to the mega millions web site to see the payout for different combinations
