Get paid 為什麼是用paid呢?

首先, 領薪資可以用下列替換嗎?

I will get salary today.

I will get wage today.

I will get +N.

為什麼要使用paid (pay-paid-paid)

我知道是被動式, 被發薪資故要用paid(p.p.),是這樣嗎?

這裡paid代表什麼詞性? 句型結構是?

所以..get + p.p. 和 be + p.p. 都可以構成被動語態嗎?

I will receive (my) salary today, or

I will receive (my) wage today.

    ==》這裡get後面接的不是名詞,而是過去分詞(past participle).

    在這種情況下,get + 過去分詞 = be + 過去分詞

    I will get engaged tomorrow.

I will get paid today = I will be paid today.

I may get fired, if you don't finish this project by Friday = I may be fired, if...

Go get dressed! == Go and get dressed. 去著裝!

    Get lost! 走開!

    Let's get married! 我們(去)結婚吧!

    Get changed! 去換衣服!

You use the WRONG pattern, for the question you have, it shall be:

    get + p.p. (past participle,過去分詞) ==> 被動語態

    For example:

get hurt, get robbed, get killed, get awarded, …

By the way, another situation is:

get + V-ing (present participle, 現在分詞) ==> 主動語態

    for example:

    get going, get moving, …

The example I have for "get + p.p." is a little negative, let me give some positive ones:

    get educated, get interested, …

"get" is a simple word, but its usage is very complicated. You shall spend sometime to study it well.

Yes, both get and BE-verb can form passive voice.

Causative verb (使役動詞) will have the function, but ONLY when it is used with things or stuffs, not with person.

    For example:

I make my sister clean my room. ("my sister" is person, so you use "clean")

He made the train stopped in time ("train" is thing, so it is use "stopped").

    2014-02-18 03:28:34 補充:

By the way, "get" is a causative verb, BUT it is NOT used as a causative verb in your question. I didn't want to mention "causative verb" to confuse you, but your question " 哪些字才可以構成被動語態嗎?".

    2014-02-18 03:37:42 補充:

The reason, "get" can follow with V-ing or P.P. is because it is treated as a linking verb ( 聯綴動詞). How do you know "get" is a linking in your question? For example:

People usually get paid on Friday.

    2014-02-18 03:40:13 補充:

If you replace "get" with BE-verb and the meaning doesn't change, then it is used as a linking verb. More examples:

    She looks beautiful.

    It feels very cold today.

    Luxury cars get expensive.

He becomes a teacher after he graduates from college.

    2014-02-18 03:43:02 補充:

You replace "looks", "feels", "get", "becomes" with "is" or "are". The above sentences don't change their meanings. Hence, they are all linking verbs.

    2014-02-18 03:43:24 補充:

Since they are linking verbs like "BE-verb," they can form passive voice by adding P.P. as "get .P.P." just like "BE + P.P."

    2014-02-18 03:57:24 補充:

In a word, there are TWO kinds of verbs that can form passive voice: linking verb and causative verb.
