what is your opinion on the fda banning saturated fats?

    Actually it probably will happen. It will certainly improve the health of children and adults, but I do think that it is pathetic that we as intelligent human beings don't know what it bad for us and Federal and Local government have to pass laws to keep people healthy.

    It's impossible to ban saturated fat, since it's in lots of food items, including meat.

    Banning saturated fat means that companies will start using dehydrogenated unsaturated fat, which is worse.

    Not to mention, the body needs saturated fats just as much as it needs unsaturated fats.

    Portion control is the only solution, banning saturated fats is not.

    My opinion is that you need to go back to first grade to learn to read.

    The FDA is discussing banning TRANS fats, not SATURATED fats.
