Chemistry Help!!! Boyle's Law States...?
Boyle's Law States....
(a.) the volume of a gas varies inversely with pressure
(b.) the volume of a gas varies directly with pressure
(c.) the temperature of gas varies inversely with pressure
(d.) the temperature of gas varies directly with pressure

Boyles's law relates the pressure and volume of a confined gas at a constant temperature.
Boyles's law can be represented mathematically as
PV = k
P1V1 = P2V2
Pressure is inversely proportional to volume. Go with (a).

PV = k is an inverse relationship. As P increases, V decreases, so that k remains constant. The answer from Computernerd is incorrect.
