How do the chemical compenents differ between Indica and Sativa strains of marijuana?

I think Sativa has higher levels of THC, while Indica contains other cannaboids, but which specifically? Rough ratio? How come when I vaporize Indica I feel calm and relaxed and when I smoke Sativa I'm creative and awake? What are the chemical components responsible?

The main difference that you feel is probably the CBD. THC by itself can make you feel paranoid but the CBD counters that. It changes how the high is perceived even though it isn't very psycoactive by itself. Indica strains tend to be higher in CBD. I don't think the other cannabinoids are nearly as important. CBD is very promising for many medical conditions even compared to THC.
