I've known about Joyce Meyers for a long time. My impression is that people tend to go through a "Joyce Meyers" phase. When people first get to know about her, she can do no wrong and has all the lifesaving principles on the tip of her tongue. This opening phase lasts between one and two years, then people begin thinking they know it all. After three years or so, she sound repetitive and boring. Then it's time for a fresh face.

She is sort of like the Oprah Winfrey of the Christian world (but with a bit of genuine humility).
