What is the "Curse of Chief Wahoo?
The Cleveland Indians baseball Team are losing because of a curse.....what is the curse?

The Curse of Chief Wahoo is that the Cleveland Baseball Team will not have winning season as long as they keep the Chief Wahoo Logo.
It is Karma that is the bottom of the Curse of Chief Wahoo, supposedly because the Chief Wahoo Logo attracts bad Karma like a lighting rod. Hence the Cleveland Baseball team will not advance in the play off to win a World Series as long as Chief Wahoo is the official logo.
You see at the beginning of every baseball season, all fans and players all across the nation hope and pray that their team has a winning year. Towards the end of the regular season some teams hopes and prayers are answered and they advance to the play offs.
If the Cleveland baseball team is lucky and makes the play offs, most fans and players from other teams from all across the nation who did not make the play offs wish the Cleveland team would lose. Some people living on reservations, who don't know where Cleveland is or have never been to a baseball game in their lives also hope Cleveland will lose.
Karma responds and Cleveland loses. This collective National Negative Karma is why Cleveland can't advance in any play offs - This is the 'Curse of Chief Wahoo'.
The 1992 Anti-Chief Wahoo Logo: the 'People Not Mascots' Logo.
It is meant to be a Native American protest caricature of the Cleveland Indians Baseball team. It was originally painted by David Jakupca at the historic ARK in Berea incorporating elements of the Theory of Iceality on Environmental Arts, it has drawn criticism from some sportswriters, fans and local businessmen, but gained immediate acceptance among humanitarian, religious groups and Native Americans. It gained international popular attention when it was it exhibited by ICEA at the 1993 UN World Conference on Human Rights held in Vienna, Austria and has become one of the most recognized anti-racists logo's in existence. In the past twenty years, it also caused repercussions for the groups connected with using the logo in protest demonstrations and this has been documented in the INTERNECINE MATRIX.
In 2014 the Cleveland Baseball Team Indians won't have Chief Wahoo as its primary logo anymore as the team is changing its primary logo from Wahoo to the block letter 'C'. While the Wahoo logo still will be seen on hats and jerseys, the organization is slowly moving towards taking Wahoo out permanently.
When that happens, the 'Curse of Chief Wahoo' will be broken.Source(s): Reference Links: ~WIKIPEDIA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_Wahoo ~INTERNECINE MATRIX http://theicea.com/page21 ~INDIANS WON'T HAVE CHIEF WAHOO AS PRIMARY LOGO ANYMORE http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/the-indians-won... ~DROPPING CHIEF WAHOO IS BIG STEP FORWARD FOR CLEVELAND TEAM http://www.cbc.ca/news/aboriginal/dropping-chief-w...

I stand to be corrected on this, but the grinning Cleveland Indians logo, otherwise known as Chief Wahoo, has been representatives of the Indians for decades now. It's no secret that the Indians (until that last couple of years) have been quite unsuccessful (blowing that 3-1 series lead in the 2007 LCS in particular) and so some suspect the Indians logo is a cause of the curse.
It is also worth noting that some Native American groups find the logo to be insulting towards their culture and racist.
Is there such a thing as a curse? That's a personal belief, but I'm not a superstitious person. I don't think there is such thing as a curse for any team.

Now that The Sox, CWS, Giants and Phillies all have multiple titles among themselves Selig's PR cronies are trying to attract newer fans by inciting more insufferable losers.
If Chief Wahoo were "karma" then why have the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Braves already won a championship in the 90's?

The first logo known as "Chief Wahoo" debuted in 1947 [the current one has "basically" remained unchanged since 1951]; the Indians have not won a World Series since 1948.
That's about it.

There is no such thing as a curse, that's just a myth. Just ask the Cubs about curses.
