How do you disable the windows key?

Question

like on dell computers, the windows button right between Alt and Fn/Ctrl. When I have other applications open, I often accidentally press it and it pulls me out of the application to take me to the start menu. It's quite annoying. Any ideas?

Here is a link that explains how to disable the "Windows" key on your keyboard. One is a program fix from Microsoft ( best choice ), and the other fix involves getting into and changing the Windows Registry value ( dangerous! ).
