Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance for the 3DS?

Someone please help me, I have all of the following worlds for Riku complete: the grid, pranksters paradise and la cites des cloches. i went back to Traverse Town and there was no cut scene like I was told there would be.. Did i do something wrong? Does Sora have to be complete first? I'm very confused please help.

Pretty sure you have to get Sora to the same level before advancing the story. They didn't want a scenario where you were at the end of the game with one of them and hadn't even touched the other I guess.
