You really can't compare a human IQ to an animal IQ, as they measure intelligence in a way that is only appropriate for that species. The fact that a cat can't read English for example, has no bearing on how intelligent cat is - cats do not need to know how to read to survive. IQ tests for humans are of questionable use, as many claim they are culturally biased. Cats are extremely intelligent animals - just in a different way than dogs or humans are.Source(s): many years of cat rescue

A cat's IQ, if it could be measured would be very low compared to a human. We consider our cats very smart when they learn things, but they are usually things the most mentally challenged (ie. low IQ) human can learn.

It depends on the number of lives they have left

You can't compare because the brains are different.
