What is the job of a USMC Infantry Officer?

This mos sounds like something aimed in my direction but I want to know more about it and the difficulty level of receiving this particular mos right after graduating the academy

To lead infantry platoons. That's why a 2nd Lt. is a Platoon Commander.

To lead, manage, plan and resource Infantry units and personnel

Do your own research. If you're incapable of discovering what an INFANTRY officer does, then you shouldn't even enlist.
