What does "mind you" mean?
Somebody just told me "I went to Disneyland the other land, not disney world, mind you." I'm not really sure what that means

This is more of a generational thing. You hear it lot from the older generation and maybe even in certain regions of the US. It's not common or uncommon. In your particular sentence, the speaker is letting you know that they know the difference, and they want to clarify in case you didn't. If you're learning English I wouldn't bother with it.

It means that something should be taken into consideration.
