Cheap flights to paris?

Hi! My friend and I are going to Paris on a budget. We know many flights are expensive (1,100) but we are looking at the 800-1,000 range. We don't mind connecting flights. Please help us

I use Kayak.com to find the best fares and/or itineraries. It's incredibly flexible and includes most airlines.

You do not mention when you plan to fly, or from where. Icelandair .is usually by far the lowest priced. I looked up a connecting one way flight and for the end of January showed $589.00 (including all taxes and extras). This price is for New York-Paris.
