while sulphur dioxide and hydrogen perioxide can act as oxidizing and reducing agents in thier reactions?

ozone and nitric acid act only as oxidising agents why???

    redox is only relative

    for example a strong acid is a reducing agent to a weak acid, but relative to a base both are reducing agents
