New windows 8 laptop gaming question?
I am hoping to play games on my new windows 8 laptop and ive been using the can you run it to see which games i can play and all of them fail because of CPU speed but the CPU passes. My question is does this CPU speed really matter when it comes to gaming if everything else passed the test. The game i used as a reference was Skyrim which said it needed a 3.0 ghz to run and mine was only a 1.5 up to 2.1 ghz

To run all the modern games today minimum requirements are likely to be systems with processors equal to or fater than the intel i5 > 2.5/6 GHZ boost up to 3.0+ GHZ (Or AMD equivalent), and a graphic card > Nvidia 9600M-GT or AMD Radeon HD 6470M and above.
The 1 GIG or 2 GIG GT640M appears to be a decent mobile video card.
Oh and 6 GIG 1333MHZ/1600MHZ DDR3 RAM, although you can add this your self.
