This is difficult to say for sure:
GD 1 fatty liver seems to indicate that this is Grade 1 fatty liver of which
could means the amount of fat inside the liver is small. A healthy liver
usually has up to 5% of fat that doesn't really cause any problems at all
to the patient. It isn't until it gets closer to the 10% that it may cause
damage to the liver cells. Just stating Grade 1 here doesn't indicate
whether or not this is throughout the liver (diffuse) infiltration or focal
(only in one area).
However, Grade 1 fatty infiltration of the liver with focal fatty sparing
can means that the fat is throughout the liver, but only in certain
places it is not found.
In this article it states:
"We conclude that focal sparing occurs frequently in patients with
liver steatosis, especially in segments 4 and 5."
This is really a tough question. As one can not be sure by the
description what is really meant.
However, it depends on the cause whether it can be stopped or
treated and be reversed. Some causes of fatty liver disease are
alcohol consumption, certain kinds of medications (like steriods),
high cholesterol/triglyceride levels, metabolic disorders,
diabetes, insulin resistance, weight gain (obesity), fast weight
loss, malnourishment, etc. As you can see, stopping the cause,
getting treatment or diet, etc.,can help the liver heal. The liver does regenerate new cells and the condition in both cases can mostly be reversed. With Grade 1, the condition would be at a very
early stage of this disease.
I hope this information has been of some help to you.

Fatty liver disease affects a whopping 30% of the population. That's 30 out of every 100 people! And some estimates have it at 33%.
And if you're overweight, it's even worse overweight people are extremely more likely than healthy weight individuals to develop this condition.
In other words, you're not alone. Not by a long shot.
Other fatty liver sufferers have reversed their condition, lost weight, and rediscovered their energy, using completely natural remedies. And that means you can, too!

Be realistic. Crazy goals like losing two dress sizes in 14 days will almost always end within tears, lost motivation and more than a little comfort eating. You can only ever appear like a thinner you – so set standards you know you can achieve.

People who plan their weekly meals are more successful at losing weight than those that don’t. Plan your dishes to add healthy carbs such as lovely potato and wholegrain pasta, vegetables and lean proteins, buy each of the ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted to nibble on out or order in.

Banish salt out of your foods wherever you can. Not simply does it raise your blood pressure and normally dry out your blood, but sodium causes you to retain water contributing to overall ill health and weight gain.
