How to connect ps4 with soundbar?

Recently bought a ilive 32 inch HD sound bar and was hoping to connect it with my PS4 but The PS4 has a HDMI cord that connects to the TV. I tried connecting the auxiliary cord, that came with the sound bar, to the VIZIO HD TV . But when I play the PS4, there is no sound coming from the Sound bar. I read the instructions and made sure the sound bar is in auxiliary mode but still nothing. And the auxiliary cords are plugged into the right holes ( right under the HDMI slot) and still nothing.

Need Help Please!!,!

The Sound Bar will pass audio from whatever TV input channel you have set, regardless of whether the sound input to that channel is HDMI, Component, etc.

Make sure your PS4's Audio Output is set to for multiple-output like on PS3, so that it passes all audio signals from the PS4 through the HDMI cable and any headset that you might be using. However, the PS4 MUST be set to properly to get sent to the TV along with Video, and not just headset audio.

    On the PS4:

    1. Choose Settings>Sound and Screen>Audio Output Settings>Primary Output Port>HDMI

    Same menu:

Output to Headphones>Chat Audio (selecting All Audio will send all audio signals to the headset).

Audio Format (Priority)> Linear PCM, unless you're using a unit that has a Dolby processor.
