Schedule 2 drugs are drugs that have a high potential for abuse such as painkillers and such they have some what of a medical purpose but are very addictive...class 1 drugs are ones that have no medical purpose such as heroin meth etc illegal drugs.. type 3 drugs are ones that have less of a chance for abuse but are still prescribed.. and class 4 drugs are your over the counter drugs

This medicine is classified as a Schedule II drug, because it has a high potential for medicine addiction, thats why you need to consult the doctor first before that kind of medications.

Tylenol was added by the manufacturers to change the drug class. But it never really changed the medicine at all. So this was always a Class 11 drug, though no one was really looking.
