So I heard about this night vale thing and it's like a podcast, right? what is it about and why do people like it??!

It's a podcast in the style of a local radio news half-hour wherein weird things happen that are told in a matter-of-fact business-as-usual style. You have to have a certain kind of sense of humor to enjoy them, but if you have that sort of sense of humor, they're hilarious. I had to listen to three or four of them before I really got what was happening there, but now I look forward to them.
