How is the formula for finding arc length similar to the formula to finding area of a sector?
- RogueLv 77 years agoFavorite Answer
arc length = θr [where θ is the angle formed at the center between the two radius points at the ends of the arc . θ must be in radians]
area of a sector = (1/2)θr²,[ this is the area between the arc, and the two radius lines that form it. again θ must be in radians. ]
