Malware that affects Mawarebytes, audio, adblock?
Yesterday all the file associations were corrupted I had to fix that. I had audio until mid morning. So far I've had to do system restore to get audio back three times. Every time I open Malwarebytes it's database is missing and I have to download the files again (also 3 times). Adblock has stopped working twice on chrome, I had to remove and reinstall it.
Has anyone had this virus/malware before?

I did encounter a file association corruption after a rogue antispyware called Win 7 Total Security 2011 has infected my computer a few years ago, I did a System Restore to get it back.
If a piece of malware does not allow Malwarebytes Antimalware to install, what you can do is to use Malwarebytes Chameleon to fire up Malwarebytes Antimalware.
Malwarebytes Antimalware will also fix File Associations.
You can use a tool called FixExec from BleepingComputer to fix the File Associations, there are versions with .com, .scr extensions etc. if FixExec.exe does not work, try FixExec.com, or FixExec.scr, or even FixExec.pif.

Boot into safe mode (google if you don't know how to do), and then run Malwarebytes like that. It should find all viruses and remove them.Source(s): Personal experience
