Only 2 months in, wise to move on from job?
Inside the territory, you work with banks and accountants as a referral source into other businesses. I'm two months in, have been strictly door-to-door, and my VP (who is currently running my team) is unsure of when I'll be able to have my own territory or more opportunities.
At the end of the day, these are good people. But with quota hitting at the end of December, I believe that when (if?) I finally get a territory, I'll be beyond busy/stressed playing catch-up trying to make my numbers. The only issue I have is that it's been two months. I graduated from college in May, and I'm hoping that my decision to possible leave might affect my future growth.
I'm going to continue to give 110% to the company, but my thoughts are to keep my options open and speak with some more companies/recruiters and make sure my next possible company and position is long-term. I have some other companies already interested. I honestly don't want to waste the company's time, but I also don't want to set myself up for failure. I've never quit anything in my life. I'm young and fortunate to have this opportunity, but I'm understanding that this may not be the best fit for me at the moment.
Would this be a wise career move?
