Should each cheeseburger at McD's carry a 50 cent tax to pay for the welfare programs the workers get?

McD's pays about $8 per hour. Don't the employees get all kinds of social/welfare handouts like Chip, Medicaid, Obamacare (coming up), Section 8, food stamps, heating assistance, free school for their kids, free school lunches for their kids, etc etc etc?

Update:

Or should you just shell out more tax money to pay for the Welfare handouts for McDonalds' workers?

Perhaps there is another solution . The average McDonalds worker make $ 15,000 a year . The CEO made $ 9.2 MILLION and never cooked anything .

perhaps other places as well since that quite a few other places help add to the welfare dole

and by them not paying a better wage they help contribute to the problem of those on such

but if we do nothing there might as well be even more who have to get on the safety nets

Since most people who patronize fast food joints are at or close to welfare levels, it would certainly make sense to charge them for that welfare, yes.
