What are your favourite love R&B or Rock songs of all time and why?

In no particular order my favourites are:

Beatles - In My Life (I can't think of any other reasonable way to explain your love for someone. Everything about is wonderful)

Beatles - Something (Even though I prefer James Brown's cover to the original I still love the original. It has a passion that comes with it musically)

Beatles - Here, There and Everywhere (Refer to In My Life)

John Lennon - Love (A philosophical take on love affairs with hope and the chord progression is and piano work from Phil Sector are lovely)

Brothers Johnson - Strawberry Letter 23 (The 22nd letter of the alphabet is V. I love the guitar solo and the poetry of the lyrics)

The Temptations - My Girl (Gives the same feeling with In My Life musically although less intricate but it is perfect in its simple way)

Miguel - Adorn (One of the only love songs released recently that evoked my attention)

Bon Jovi - Lie To Me (Quite a melancholy song ideal for struggling relationships)

Bon Jovi - Bitter Wine (An exceptional look at lost love)

Bon Jovi - Always (You cannot hate the melodies, the passionate and powerful vocals, and the good lyrics (which were written to be sung not read))

Guns N' Roses - Don't Cry (Original lyrics) (Refer to Lie To Me)

Guns N' Roses - November Rain (Related to Don't Cry but the orchestration and the lyricism and musicality here is almost underrated. Truly one of my favourite love songs)

Queen - You Take My Breath Away (The piano work, The vocals, the emotion)

Queen - Somebody To Love (A masterpiece without a doubt)

Michael Jackson - The Lady In My Life (refer to Somebody To Love)

Alicia Keys and Maxwell - We Make Fire (vocals and that guitar solo at the end)

Black Sabbath - Changes (I remember playing this for a friend of mine who wept upon hearing it)

Stevie Wonder - Ebony Eyes ( I can see her in the music)

Led Zeppelin - The Rain Song (Same realm with Stevie Wonder. You just have to listen for yourself)

R. Kelly - If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time (Sacred)

Miguel - Pussy Is Mine (Deals with the sexual side of things in an honest manner and the progression is lovely)

Red Hot Chili Peppers - I Could Have Lied (frustration and regret)

Rolling Stones - No Expectations (Up there with The Rain Song)

There are many others I am yet to discover. By the way, is there difference between rock and r&b musically. If it exists what is it?

How could I leave out Elvis' classic - Falling In Love With You and U2's With Or Without You and Sweetest Thing.

Cold Fire by Rush... lyrically its great and it plays on the 'smart, intelligent girl' and 'nieve kind of guy' thing, plus everyone can relate to it... plus its Rush... and also its such an alien topic for Rush to have done a song about yet they aced it
