Do I need a transit UK visa?

I'm travelling to Tenerife Islands (Spain) from Norway via London. I am a citizen of Kyrgyzstan and I hold Norwegian Residence Permit (work permit). I have 14 hours between my flights. Is transit visa needed in this case?Thank you!

You can transit without visa provided that you:

    • have booked an onward ticket from the UK for travel within 24 hours of your arrival

    • have your luggage checked through to your final destination

    • stay in the international transit area and will not need to pass through the UK's immigration control

Transit passenger who need to change trminals at London Heathrow are transported on the airside by dedicated transit buses and do not need to pass through UK's immigration control.

A valid residence permit or type D visa issued by Norway (EEA country) exempts from the Direct Airside Transit Visa requirement regardless of the nationality of the traveller.
