America have been in 33 wars and battles the last 70 years, whereas Iran only had 2?

Between 1945 and 1998, the U.S have tested 1032 nuclear explosions worldwide, whereas Iran have set off 0.

So can someone explain how exactly Iran are a bigger threat than the U.S? If you want the list of all 33 wars and battles America has embarked on the past 70 years, I'll gladly do so.

Yes well, the USA has been the world hegemon, whereas Iran has never been more than a regional player.

"So can someone explain how exactly Iran are a bigger threat than the U.S?"

Threat is a relative concept, isn't it? If Americans are talking about the bigger threat to themselves, most are invariably going to identify Iran as the bigger threat because of Iran's connection to various factions that are known to carry out terrorist attacks on American Hezbollah and Hamas.

If you were talking to an Israeli civilian, naturally Iran is the bigger threat because it has called for the annihilation of Israel (something that, to my knowledge, no US President has ever called for...the annihilation of another nation off the face of the earth), and because Iran is known to arm Hezbollah and Hamas, which in turn carry out proxy conflicts in Israel and, to a lesser extent, Lebanon.

If you were talking to a Yemeni civilian on the other hand, they likely would point to the USA as the bigger threat because they have no direct knowledge of any Iranian actions taken in Yemen...but they probably can recall US drone strikes that have killed people in Yemen.

But hey, I'd bet that if you polled people in every nation, outside of Europe, I suspect most would view the U.S. as a bigger threat than Iran...and inside Europe, the results would probably be pretty surprising.

Obviously Iran has a different philosophy and different circumstances - Have a war, have it last a long time and kill a whole lot more people during one conflict.

Recent conflicts/battles Iran has been in:

    1967 Kurdish revolt in Iran

    Iran–PJAK conflict,

    1979 Kurdish rebellion in Iran

    Iran-Iraq War

    KDPI insurgency (1989–96)

    The Dhofar Rebellion

that may not be 33, but it's more than the 2 you claim.

    Kurdish rebellion of 1983

It's 1054 nuclear bombs that the US has detonated, in the name of nuclear testing-

Also, the US is seen as a bigger threat to peace than Iran-
