Why does Martin Straka former NHL standout still play at age 41 in a Czeck pro league?

I see Martin Straka still plays in a pro Czeck league where he's from, Is the reason Straka still plays for such a team is because he's part owner and general manager? If he didn't have any ownership on the team at all, wasn't general manager, or just no staff member of any kind, would he still play for the pro Czeck team?, Or would his playing days be over? Thank You, I ask because I want to see old guys such as him live in the past, as there's only 2 players still in the NHL today from 20 years ago, Teemu Selanne and Jaromir Jagr.

he has has the passion ... it's a softer league over there, so it's less physical and more ice to avoid hits ... Marty Brodeur just called "What about me??"

And Alfie's been in the league for 18 years
