There are honestly too many examples to continue, but you get the idea. Moreover, these rulings come from many different areas of the country, and they are handed down by a diverse group of judges. This cannot be blamed on "liberalism" (whatever that means) or "judicial activism."

As the GOP keeps shifting to the right, their judgements are being made on the prejudices of the ultra-right fringe. And not on any legal foundations.

The current makeup of SCOTUS is primarily conservative, but the ultra-right has gone far beyond the state & federal constitutions in their attempts at making laws.

Because liberal judges disagree with the laws and usually using very poor legal reasoning and very thin logic, declare them unconstitutional, based on personal viewpoint rather than using a legal basis.

Some of the worst legal decisions in history have been by liberal judges deciding cases based on their personal preferences rather than law.

Lawmakers spend so much time getting reelected instead of being sensible they pass laws that they know are unconstitutional so they can get people to vote for them. Nothing like wasting our money on things they know will fail.
