Age of consent in alabama?

A girl is 17 and she is dating and having sex with a 22 year old. The legal age of consent is 16 in alabama where they live. What can happen to the 22 year old since he is 6 years older than her? But the age if consent is 17? Can't the girl have sec with whoever without the guy getting in trouble? I need a true answer

In Alabama, there is no "Romeo and Juliet" provision under their legal age to consensual sex law. In other words, even if you are 75 years old and have had sex with a 16 year old girl, you will not be prosecuted. However, if you allow the girl to drink alcohol before having sex with you - because she can't stand the stench of your fossilized pecker, the court will haul off your *** to jail - why? because the drinking age in Alabama is 21 - either way, shame on you for taking advantage of a 16 year old girl.

In Alabama the age of consent is indeed 16, meaning that once you are 16 you can legally have sex with anyone of any age 16 and up. 22 or 42, it doesn't matter.
