Does Kohl's "Yes we can" policy apply to store associates?

I'm a part-time employee and have been recently informed that employees are no longer able to receive "yes we can" discounts or redeem expired coupons as per the "yes we can" policy that is practiced in all customer interactions i.e. incorrect sale signs, price match, honoring expired coupos....etc... This is a recent change in policy that I was not made aware of or is the management at my store just a bunch of ding a lings?

    Have a family member use those expired coupons.

    Yes, loyal employees usually get screwed over sooner than the customers. This isnt news.
