It will probably come out as the deep burgundy color (perhaps a tad bit lighter), but you need to really be careful with it or it'll fade out in a couple washes. I'm still trying to go from bleached blonde back to burgundy, and every time I dye it, it fades in a few shampoos. Something that helps is a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. They're much less harsh on dyed hair. Darker colors, and reds especially, fade very quickly if you have a light base under them. Sulfates strip hair color out (they're what makes shampoo lather up really well) but they aren't necessary. Organix is a great brand. Also, never use a dandruff shampoo on dyed hair. It'll strip out almost all of your color in one wash. The worst thing in the world is getting your hair that perfect color, then watching it run down the drain because of poor upkeep!
