abused in childhood by uncle?

My mom brother had sexually abused me when iwas only 7 years old....he is died now and iam 35 years old...i have not yet told this to mom considering the fact that she would be unhappy nd uopset....but....other hand i feel that she has right to know how much ****** her brother waz.......shud i tell her?
