    This is about as easy as this subject gets:

    tan² θ cos² θ + cot² θ sin²θ = 1

    LHS = (sin²θ/cos²θ) × cos² θ+ (cos²θ/sinθ²) × sin²θ = sin²θ + cos²θ = 1 = RHS as required
