Darn,now Im HUGE Queen fan.They are my all time favorite band.

As much as I like Brian May,Jimi Hendrix is the clear winner.

Jimi was revolutionary and simply a more gifted guitarist.

Apart from the fact he influenced every guitarist including May,he was unique and one of a kind player.

Like I said Im a huge Queen fan and I say Jimi Hendrix,so no bias :)

Jimi Hendrix was the best guitar player you ever seen. Guitar solos are easy to play but hard to feel and Hendrix was the best in the world, he was rock n roll at it's peak. Even Lemmy from Motorhead said so.

I've heard a bit from Jimi Hendrix, talented no doubt. But Brian May is probably my vote.

I overall vote David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) as the best guitar player of all time

brian may saw hendrix wipe the floor with the who at the bag of nails in 1966 and has never forgotten it.at least according to brian may.then again what does he know.
