Is america really the good guy?

About 1400 civilians died in Syria and US is all set to attack Syria because civilians being killed is not "acceptable".Why didn't they do do the same in Bangladesh Liberation war when about 4,00,000 women were raped(one of the largest genocides) but instead supported Pakistan because they feared an Indian victory will imply Russia's increased influence in South East Asia.Anyway,India won.In addition, they aided Pakistan militarily to continue this genocide.Similar US policy was seen in wars of East Timor.

I respect the middle eastern people who have not surrendered to these civilized terrorists. While the West has Hollywood and their utterly biased media to share their side of story these middle easterners have no such means to share their side of story and are always depicted as the violent and irrational people.

PS:Also,is US even a democracy? The country seems to go on wars even if it's citizens oppose it.Seems more communist to me.

We are a Republic, NOT a Democracy. Two different forms of government. Communism is actually the purest form of Democracy. Which is why BOTH are failed systems.

The US Government is debating on going into Syria NOT because civilians are being killed, but because Chemical Weapons were used. If it was just because of civilians being killed we would be in a dozen different wars currently.

In 1971 we did not get involved in Bangladesh because we were still heavily involved in Vietnam. Public sentiment at the time didn't even want us in the war we were fighting, much less starting another one.

The US has not always been the "Good Guys" they have always focused on their Interested Areas of the World

At the time of the Indo-Pakistan War the US was heavily involved with Vietnam

As for Syria we see the "Not our Problem", coming up once again, and if we look back at US history we see that repeatedly

    1971 was a different time.

America is a good country, the best; no other country allows their people a greater sense of freedom, financial, spiritual, or otherwise.

It celebrates the individual freedom of the pursuit of happiness; or at least, it is supposed to.
