How many prayers does it take before god will intervene and save a child with Leukemia?

And if it takes 1,427 prayers, how would you feel if it was your child and the prayer chain was short by 1 link?

Why doesn't god give us some clues as to the prayer combination?

The fact that there's still starving people and we haven't achieved world peace are definitive proof that prayer doesn't work because billions have been praying for them practically forever.

Considering the number of children dying of cancer I'd say at least a few billion.

Since I don't see prayer as anything but a waste of precious time I wouldn't care.

God lives only in each person's mind. The prayer combo is in there for that person and any gullible people he can convince to believe him.

@peter et.al.: Two hands working is better than millions clasped in prayer. You people are delusional.

Jesus told us what to pray for in what is known as the "Lord's Prayer"

He said "let your (God's kingdom) come.and let your will be done on earth.

God's kingdom is the solution to all our sickness, suffering and pain.

What this kingdom will do when it begins ruling the earth is recorded for our comfort.

(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Even those that have died of leukemia in the pass will be brought back to life on earth under this kingdom.

Jesus showed what He will do when He begins to rule in this kingdom when He was on earth by curing the sick and resurrecting the dead.

    (Daniel 2:44) “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;

What a wonderful hope for those that are sick and also for those who have already died of sickness.

(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

Because there is no god. Why does he allow suffereing? Why does a child die of starvation on this planet every five seconds? What good is cancer? Heart disease?

Seeeee, there is no line to any god. Gods are imaginary, just like heaven, hell, talking snakes, world wide floods unicorns, people with wings...all this stuff. It's all just pretend.

None. It has already been scientifically proven that not only does prayer not work, but more people died or had complications after surgery when they knew they were being "prayed for".

Zero. Because there is no god.

However, proper medical treatment will in most cases save that child. ☼

  • It really only takes just one, This one. Our heavenly father, May you cure the child this person is referring to through the faith and belief that this woman shows to this child after reading this prayer unto the child. We ask this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN. -The rest is up to you.

You have His word and revelation which you choose to ignore and prefer your own foolish and rather childish ideas.

The god you speak of is obviously of your own creation and according to you will do your bidding as long as you have enough votes.

You don't see that as childish and of your own imagination?

But for a sinner to presume to judge God is surely the most foolish possible.
