How do I lighten my hair naturally?

I dyed my hair dark brown a few days ago. It looks almost black. I don't like it this dark. How can I lighten it myself? I don't have enough money to get it done again at a salon. If I go swimming in chlorine pool will that help lighten it? Please help, I have school pictures in a few days!

You can do one of two things, to remove most of that dye.

    1. By using Tide detergent with shampoo

Google "How to Remove Dye from Hair"

    2. By shampooing you hair mix with a bit of Dawn.

Google "How to Use Dawn Dishwashing Liquid for Lightening Hair."

You can also use anti-dandruff shampoo, just not the conditioner.

Get a purple shampoo! It gives you back some of your original hair color and lightens the dye! I know for a fact that John Frieda has some purple shampoos for natural blondes and brunettes.

As for lightening your hair try this!

-DO NOT USE LEMON JUICE! This only works on Carmel and blonde hair, and will make your shade of hair ORANGE!

-make a bowl with 3/4 part your regular conditioner and 1/4 part honey!

    -lighten with chamomile tea!

    - check youtube

The best I can say is put lemon juice on it and sit in the sun.
