You don't just simply ask for permission.  You need to get legal clearance

IN WRITING from possibly a stack-ful of lawyers representing their label(s),

and THEY are the ones who would have to let YouTube's legal department

    know about it IN WRITING.

Wikipedia shows their labels as being:  Nuclear Blast, Spinefarm, Century

    Media, and Fearless:

The other option is to try and figure out which Copyright-protection society

is responsible for licensing their public rights. The most common ones are:

-- American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP)

    -- Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI)

-- Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers of Canada (SOCAN)

-- British Performing Rights Society for Music (PRS for Music)

-- Society of European Stage Authors and Composers (SESAC)

Since COB are Finnish, it may be TEOSTO -- who are members of CISAC:
