Will you comment on another childhood interlude please?
It was to others, just a bathtub
two children chased down by mother
for the daily rub and scrub,
but to us left alone to play
it was entirely something else
we used as our way to stray
"Let's make this our grand, sailing ship
we'll travel away to our own adventures
in and out we will easily slip."
We didn't know any nautical terms
like, jibs, and foresails, and such
even our own jargon could never be confirmed.
We wandered over every sea, violent and calm
adding, subtracting more bubble stuff
Oh the Islands rising, became our soothing balm.
Time spent after, giggling, drying
asked, "Where did you all go this time?"
"Everywhere." There was no point in lying.

Sounds like another story of childhood. Used to enjoy those days where we would play in the tub & play games similar to what u described. Nice job. have a good weekend hugs.
