1994 f150 4.9 2wd automatic mfi 2 door?

new battery starter is good alternator is good all new fuses none blown.

the manual calls for #194 bulbs in the location I put them.

all i did was replace 6 #194 dash bulbs now the engine will not run.

i did not mess up the circuit board.all wires behind the dash gage are intact & connected correctly.

negative battery cable was taken off the battery during the process & put back on when finished.

if the problem was complicated i could have solved the problem so it has to be so simple that it is over my head.

why the engine will not run?

please help & thanks for any help.

The only thing you did that has any possible effect on whether the vehicle will start is removing the battery cable. Recheck that for looseness or poor connection.

will it crank over ? if it cranks over but won,t start then it could be fuel or electrical ! it might be the fuel pump that went out ! it could be electrical like the coil or module that went out ! electrical can cause a no start or run badly and fuel can do the same thing !

those diesels will need to be primed when you hook the battery back up because they lose fuel pressure from the electronic fuel pump in the tank.

All of that nonsense and you don't even say if it cranks over.
