can someone help me research my grandpas ancestry?

my grandpa which is my moms father ran away when my mother way an infant and she never got to know him. His name is Jack Hallison and he was born in West Virginia in 1946 or possibly 45 or in 47

he married Rose Marie Said in the 1960s and had a child name Robin in 1967

I don't know his birthday but I do know that his fathers name is charles and Jack lived in Ohio

    Hallison is a pretty unusual name, reckon this might be him?
