ANS:句子已經指明"It was a time " 過去的一段時間，當中國是一個強大的國家。

當然你也將句子改成現在式

完成式，是在一段的時間點內所完成的動作，沒有指明發在哪一個時段?

For example , I have finish my homework. (陳述已經完成了，沒有指明哪個時間點

照你意思是說，因為前面的主詞＂the dog+動詞過去式＂與前面得的"the dog+動詞過去式＂都是一致的，所以省略掉了＂Because the dog+動詞過去式＂你是指這個意思吧！那什麼不用kicked by human就好了，或者也可以用by othe也可以阿！
