C.P.A.s: What is the definition of "write up" or "write up work"?

I don't mean "the write up of an asset's value."

I'm working on my resume. I hear this term a lot, but I have never seen its definition.

    Dear T,

    It's an informal (informal = don't put on a resume or professional document) way of referring to recoding financial transactions and preparing summary interim management reports. A broad term used by small bookkeeping firms and local CPA firms. Best of luck to you.
