Our "grocery store" brand make up's are Cover Girl, Revlon, Mabeline, and a few others. The cheapest store you can buy any of them at is Walmart. All the higher end make up is usually sold at upscale stores such as Dillards and Macy's. (at the mall)
As far as pre packaged foods. We have everything you can think of here. Double Stuff Oreo's are my Favorite. They are not good for you, but they taste good. Twinkies just made a come back. They are prepackaged sponge cakes that will last forever. I'm not sure what candy you have in England, but Hershey's, Reese's cups, Snickers, Hershey's kisses, are all yummy candy.
If you're in Orlando then there's so many stores and places to buy clothes. Try hitting the outlet mall's and clearance racks at stores to save money.
Restaurants....we have so many good places to eat. If you like japanese food (or want to try it) try Kobe'. They cook your food at the table in front of you. Medevil Times is my favorite place to go. It's a dinner show. It is pricey, but it's a lot of fun. Cafe' tu tu Tango is a unique place to eat.
You'll see a lot of chain restaurants such as Joe's Crab Shack, Red Lobster, Mc Donald's Wendy's, Arby's, etc. so you will have no trouble finding something you are familuar with.
As far as Universal and Island's of Adventure, go early and hit the popular rides first thing. You can bring in water and snacks despite the "no food allowed" signs posted. Stay hydrated and drink a lot of water. It will be very hot and humid and you can dehydrate quickly in our tropical climate. Wear sunscreen and apply it several times a day. Bring a hat and sunglasses.
If you are a Harry Potter fan then I'd suggest hitting that section of the park first thing. It's located in the back of Islands of Adventure. The stores tend to get very crowded in that section, but you can purchase the same merchandise in other stores located at the enterance of the park.
Have fun and enjoy your stay!
