Can't verify my Steam account email?

Question

I set up a new Steam account and tried to buy a new game. Before it let me download the game it said to check my email to verify my account and when I open the link from the email it will say there is an error in my request and there is an error in the url. I even tried to contact Steam support but my login information won't go in, it will to log on the website but not for support

I'm getting the same error on my new steam account I just created. you have to create a new account through steam support though. it's not the same account as your steam account. hope this helps. will update if I hear anything.
