Shaving hair on back of neck?

I'm male, 23 year old and I'm thinking about shaving hair on my neck's back. They look really bad. Barber removes them (with razor) but they grow back after like a week.

Should I shave em with razor once a week? My only worry is that it might make them thick. I guess they only get thicker during puberty when one's maturing. Is that true?

Do men regularly shave neck?

I know about laser treatment, waxing, nair for men etc but for me shaving is more feasible if it doesn't make them thick.

Do you recommend this?

PS- shaving won't be problem as I can ask a friend to it for me.

Some guys shave the back of the neck every day when shaving. Need to stand with back to a mirror while holding a hand mirror in one hand and a razor in the other. Shaving or cutting hair has no effect on future hair growth; inherited DNA controls future hair growth.

If your friend will do it for you, go for it.
